Wild Things
Who doesn't love Where the Wild Things Are??? Deana Thelen of First Grade Chatter has a great resource to accompany this book! Her 10 page packet covers vocabulary, story elements, nouns, and adding endings to verbs. PLUS students will get to draw their own wild thing and write a descriptive paragraph on cute stationary!

This awesome idea comes from Vicky Moore at Mrs. Moore's Busy Bees. This packet gives you the opportunity to use several books and provide your kiddos with a snack for being such good listeners and learners! Vicky's mini unit is 32 pages in length. There is an introduction & direction page for each story, as well as 2-3 worksheets per book. What a fun way to get your students excited about reading!
